Schengen Visa

What is a Schengen visa?

In 1985, a contract was signed between several European countries in the village of Schenhen in Luxembourg, the purpose of which was to abolish the borders of these countries and to establish harmonized policies in the areas of security and intelligence and the issuance of a visa. This visa is for those who intend to enter the Schengen area and are residents or nationals of countries other than the Schengen area. Of course, residents and nationals of the Americas (other than a few countries, such as Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, etc.) as well as residents and nationals of Australia, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia do not need to obtain Schengen visas and can stay for up to 90 Enter these days or go out to these countries.

Schengen member states

Currently, 26 European countries are members of the Schengen Convention. Countries such as the UK, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Ireland are not parties to this treaty, and they need a separate visa to travel. It should be noted that the European Union countries are not one with the Schengen countries, for example, Norway and Iceland are Schengen members, but not in the European Union, as well as England, which is a member of the European Union, but is not within the Schengen area. Countries that can be trafficked with Schengen visas and are members of the Schengen Treaty:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland Liechtenstein.

Important Tips on Schengen Visa

Many people think that getting a Schengen visa is a guarantee of entry into Schengen, but in fact a visa means securing the Schengen border, and then the decision is with the Schengen authorities to allow you to enter or prevent any entry. Schengen visas do not necessarily mean that you are guaranteed to enter the Schengen area, which means that if you have taken your Schengen visa from Greece, but come from France, the Schengen authorities in France can not allow you to enter the entire Schengen area for legitimate reasons. Send you to a country outside of Schengen. The passenger entering the Schengen area should always be prepared for possible questions, including the purpose of the trip, the address of the place of residence and evidence of the ability to pay the cost of stay. On the Schengen border, the authorities can prevent your entry even if you have a Schengen visa. The passenger must be prepared to submit the following information to the authorities in case of doubt:

– Specify the purpose of your trip.

– have your residence address.

– Demonstrate a sufficient expense and return.

Having sufficient evidence on entering the Schengen borders is a guarantee for each person to avoid unpleasant things, such as interviewing or detaining and reviewing his records.

The duration of the Schengen visa

Embassies often require between two and three weeks to process your visa. However, it may take some time further. It is better to take more than one month to travel time to complete the documents and take the time for the Schengen Embassy. Although there is a possibility to get an appointment for the immediate Embassy of Schengen, we still recommend that you take action as soon as possible. If you first want to get a Schengen visa, the Schengen Express Embassy will provide you with 1 month of validity and 15 days in the Shingen area. Schengen visas for more than 15 days are not available to anyone who has not yet received Schengen visas. But getting a visa for more than 15 days will be possible for those who have at least one Schengen passport in their passport.
